| Sleeves Rnd 1 - With right side facing you, using size F hook & 2 ply baby yarn, join w/sl st in 3rd ch at underarm, ch 1, (sc, ch 3, sc) in same sp, ch 5, sk next underarm st, work (sc, ch 3, sc) in first unused sc of armhole, * ch 5, sk 2 sc, (sc, ch 3, sc) in next sc. Repeat from * once more, ch 5, sk 2 sc, (sc, ch 3, sc) in first ch at underarm. Do not join. Do not turn. Rnd 2 - * ch 5, (sc, ch 3 sc) in next ch 5 lp. Repeat from * around. Do not join. Do not turn. Rnds 3 - 7 - Repeat Rnd 2. Rnd 8 - Work 2 sc in ea ch 5 lp around, join w/sl st in first sc. Fasten off. Note: From here on out, each ch 3 sp will be referred to as a picot. Finishing Step 1 - Sew 3 snaps to back opening. Step 2 - Cutting 18 yds of ribbon into 6" pieces, make 108 bows. Trim ends. Step 3 - Starting on 8th ruffle, glue 1 bow on every 7th picot of Rnd 3 of Ruffle. Glue 1 rose in center of each bow. Repeat this procedure for each ruffle having: 8th ruffle - 22 bows 7th ruffle - 20 bows 6th ruffle - 18 bows 5th ruffle - 16 bows 4th ruffle - 14 bows 3rd ruffle - 10 bows 2nd ruffle - 6 bows 1st ruffle - 2 bows Step 4 - Glue 1 pearl to each of the remaining picots on each ruffle. Step 5 - Glue 1 pearl to each picot on sleeves and collar. Step 6 - Cut 1 yd ribbon. Place on doll's waist & tie at back. Trim ends. Tiara Row 1 - Using baby yarn & size F hook, ch 49. Working around wire, sc in 2nd ch from hook & in ea ch across, ch 1. Do not turn. Row 2 - (sc, ch 3, sc) in ea sc across. Fasten off. Shape tiara into circle & sew edges together. Veil Row 1 - Working on botom side of Tiara, with right side facing you, join baby yarn in 38th st from center back seam, ch 1, (sc, ch 3, sc) in same sp, ch 5, * (sc, ch 3, sc) in next sp, ch 5. Repeat from * 18 times more, ch 5, turn. Row 2 - (sc, ch 3, sc) in ea ch 5 sp across to last st, dc in beg sc, ch 5. turn. Repeat Row 2 until veil measures 6 inches from beg. Fasten off. Finishing Step 1 - Glue 1 pearl to ea picot on top of tiara. Step 2 - Glue 1 pearl to ea picot on veil. Step 3 - Place on doll's head. Bouquet Holder Rnd 1 - Using baby yarn & size F hook, ch 4, join to form ring, ch 1, 6 sc in ring, join, ch 1. (6 sc) |
