| Step 2 - Cut 4 lengths of rose & tulle garland to fit from waist to top ruffle of dress. Glue in vertical rows evenly spaced around the dress. Step 3 - Cut length of rose & tulle garland to fit around waist of dress & glue in place. Step 4 - Cut 4 lengths of pre-strung pearls to fit between garland strips on Rnd 15 of dress. Glue ends of pearls to garland so they look like they are continuous around the dress. Repeat this procedure on rows 17, 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31 of dress until you have 9 rows of pearls completed. Step 5 - Cut 4 - 5" lengths of pearls & tie into knots. Glue at bottom of each row of garland. Step 6 - Glue one end of each 3 x 12 piece of tulle to back of waist. Tie into bow & trim ends. Step 7 - Using mini hair comb to hold hair in place, pile doll's hair on top of head. Step 8 - Wrap length of garland around hair & glue together at back. Copyright Lynda Burl 2001 |
