| Rnd 5 - * sc in next sc, dec over next 2 sc. Repeat from * around, join, ch 1. (14 sc) Rnd 6 - * sc in next sc, dec over next 2 sc. Repeat from * around, ending sc in last 2 sc, join. Fasten off. (10 sc) Rnd 7 - Using size F hook, join baby yarn w/sl st in same st as joining, ch 1, sc in ea sc around, join. Fasten off. Hat Rnd 1 - Using size G hook & amethyst, ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook, do not join, mark for beg of rnd. (6 sc) Rnd 2 - 2 sc in ea sc around. (12 sc) Rnd 3 - * sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc. Repeat from * around. (18 sc) Rnd 4 - * sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc. Repeat from * around. (24 sc) Rnd 5 - * sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc. Repeat from * around. (30 sc) Rnd 6 - * sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc. Repeat from * around. (36 sc) Rnd 7 - * sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc. Repeat from * around. (42 sc) Rnds 8 - 10 - sc in ea sc around. At end of Rnd 10, join, ch 2. (42 sc) Rnd 11 - hdc in ea sc around, join, ch 2. Rnd 12 - working in BLO, 2 hdc in ea hdc around, join, ch 2. Rnds 13 - 15 - hdc in ea hdc around, join, ch 2. At end of Rnd 15, fasten off. Rnd 16 - Using size F hook, join baby yarn w/sl st in same sp as joining, ch 1, sc in ea hdc around, join. Fasten off. Ruffle Rnd 1 - Using size G hook, join lt. amethyst w/sl st in first unused lp of Rnd 12, ch 1, * sc in next lp, hdc in next lp, 3 dc in next lp, hdc in next lp. Repeat from * around, join w/sl st in first sc. Fasten off. Finishing Step 1 - Sew 4 snaps to back opening of dress. Step 2 - Cut 1 yd length of ribbon. Place around doll's waist, working thru 1 st at ea underarm. Tie into bow at back. Trim ends. Step 3 - Using 1/2 yd length of ribbon & starting at center back, weave ribbon thru sts of Rnd 11 of hat.
